Webco, Inc. was started in 1982 as a leaded stained glass company called “Web of Glass” in Hixson, TN.

As the company grows so does the product lines.

Door sales and installation was added to the list of products in the mid 80’s.

In 1986, an associate of Kirby’s ask him to produce build-up sticks for laminate counter-tops. They were added to the ever growing list of products & services at “Web of Glass”.

In 1988, some friends that owned a large local cabinet shop asked if we would consider adding laminate counter-tops. “Web of Glass” had been selling them leaded stained glass cabinet door inserts for several years. They liked the workmanship “Web of Glass provided and promised that if  countertops were added to the product line they would purchase all counter-tops of their countertops from the “Web of Glass”.

By 1989 land was purchased in the New Soddy Daisy Industrial Park. Within the year a 10,000 square foot building was built to house “Web of Glass”.

In the fall of 1990,”Web of Glass” was incorporated and the new company name “Webco, Inc.” was adopted.
